There will be two non-comprehensive exams to assess concept comprehension. Each exam has a retake opportunity. See below for details.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
See Exam 1 and Exam 2 for the reviews for each exam.
Unless you have pre-arranged accommodations, the main (first) attempt of the exam will be as follows:
Modality: The exam will be conducted synchronously in-person using the quiz feature on Canvas. It will not use Lockdown Browser.
Timing: The exam will automatically unlock and lock at the start and end times of your enrolled lecture section. If you start the exam on-time, you have the entire class time of 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the exam.
Questions: The exam questions will consist of multiple choice, multiple answer, dropdown, and fill-in-the blank questions. The specific questions, order you see questions, and possible answers may be randomized.

Resources: The exam must be completed individually; the answers must represent your individual understanding of the course concepts. The exam is otherwise open-book open-note. You may reference lecture material, your personal notes and code, and Java documentation, as well as run code in jshell
or Eclipse.

See the Exam Grading guide for details on cheating consequences.
